EQuIP condemns racism

The Equality and Inclusion Partnership (EQuIP) wholly condemns the racism and abuse directed at black England players after the Euro Cup Final last night and its impact on wider diverse communities across Warwickshire.

We have been made aware of a number of racist and abusive posts on social media and would urge everyone that has come across similar comments to report the abuse to us at  www.reporthatenow.com and to Warwickshire police.

We are demanding social media platforms, the FA and criminal justice agencies take the strongest possible action against perpetrators as this is completely unacceptable abuse.

The impact of such hate crime on these talented young players is appalling and this racist abuse cannot be ignored any longer and must be dealt with as a matter of urgency.
