International Women's Day 2021

EQuIP is running a series of events during March 2021 to celebrate women's achievements and look at gender inequality in Warwickshire, how Covid-19 continues to have a detrimental impact on women and how we change for the better.

In the first event on Thursday 11 March we were delighted to have Monica Fogarty, Chief Executive of Warwickshire County Council join us for an online discussion including how the pandemic has affected women and what needs to change.

EQuIP's Senior Equality Officer Suki Rai delivered a presentation on the impact of Covid19 on women. The PDF can be downloaded here

In addition we are running an event on 25 March looking at the Violence Aginst Women and Girls Strategy (VAWG)  in Warwickshire and speaking to Refuge.
