What we do

Who is EQuIP?

EQuIP are a charity providing support, advice and training to people across Warwickshire to combat discrimination.

We work alongside local groups, businesses and organisations, helping to build understanding and cohesion throughout our community through individual support and advice, group learning and tailored training courses.

We cover everything from equality to radicalisation

EQuIP are here to provide support, advice and training on a huge range of issues relating to discrimination, equality and community cohesion.

Personalisation in Adult Social Care - A Cultural Perspective

People are living longer and those with long term conditions and disabilities that require Adult Social Care are in need of a service that is able to meet complex and varied needs.

Hate crime can have devastating consequences for the victim, their family, witnesses and the community as a whole. However public awareness and perception of hate crime remains low with incidents being significantly under-reported.

Our Process

Why should I take action?

If you’ve been a victim of or a witness to discrimination, there is always something you can do about it. If you make a report to EQuIP it gives us valuable information, but more importantly, it means that we can give you the advice and support that you need.

EQuIP will be delivering 4 interactive sessions in Atherstone, Nuneaton, Rugby and Leamington Spa. . There will be guest speakers who specialise in Domestic Violence; Gangs, Exploitation and CSE; Forced Marriage and Honour based Abuse. .

Transgender Awareness Newsletter

 . Each season we have created a theme for our newsletter. For our spring/summer edition EQuIP celebrated the 100th anniversary for Women's right to vote. For our autumn/winter edition EQuIP would like to raise awareness and focus on the transgender community.
