Community as a Superpower - Refugee Week

Real Voices. Real Stories. Lasting Impact

As part of Refugee Week, the Equality and Inclusion Partnership (EQuIP), in partnership with Warwickshire County Records Office, is launching a series of special podcasts celebrating the voices of Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Volunteers across Warwickshire.   Centred around the theme “Community as a Superpower,” the podcasts highlight powerful personal stories of resilience, strength and community connection. Featuring relaxed and informal conversations, the episodes will include both individual interviews and group reflections on what makes community such a vital force.   Each recording is condensed into approximately 20-minute podcast and will be preserved by the County Records Office, serving as a lasting tribute to the contributions of newly settled communities in the county. This project offers a meaningful space to amplify lived experiences and honour the strength found in unity.
