EQuIP, a leading equality charity based in the heart of Warwickshire, invites you to become a vital part of our mission as a Volunteer Development Officer.
As our Volunteer Development Officer you'll use your strong partnership working skills to strengthen and co-ordinate the VCS support offer available to refugees and asylum seekers across Warwickshire. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to lead, inspire, and empower both volunteers and the communities they serve.
What We Offer:

- Competitive Salary: Earn £28,282 per annum while working 37.5 hours per week. Fixed term contract for 24 months with the potential for further extension.

Your Role:
As our Volunteer Development Officer, you'll be at the forefront of change, coordinating activities, providing essential support, and promoting best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in educational initiatives and advocacy campaigns
- Coordinating voluntary and community sector activities across various resettlement schemes
- Providing training and capacity-building support to volunteer groups
- Recruiting and managing volunteers to fulfil essential roles
- Encouraging Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and migrants to access volunteering opportunities
Your Profile: We're looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience
- Enthusiasm and dedication to supporting Refugees and Asylum Seekers
- Understanding of migration programmes and related issues
- Experience in community development or capacity building
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and work outside of normal working hours, where required
